LA NOSTRA STORIA
Our story began in a small vineyard in Sicily, where winemaking was never about production—it was about tradition. Each harvest, family and friends gathered among the vines to hand-pick the grapes and craft a small vintage to share around the table, celebrating another season together. Growing up surrounded by those moments, Alessio developed a deep appreciation for the art of winemaking that only grew stronger over the years. Today, that childhood inspiration has become a lifelong dream realized, bringing the heart of his Sicilian roots to Oregon, where our family has built a new home. Every bottle we make is a tribute to where our journey began and an invitation to share a small piece of that tradition with you.

Our family moved from Italy to the United States in 2000, carrying with us the traditions, culture, and history that continue to shape who we are. In 2021, we found our home in Oregon wine country with a simple vision: to craft exceptional wines, become part of a welcoming community, and share the beauty of both our Italian heritage and the place we now call home. We hold each close to our hearts and are grateful to bring together the best of these two remarkable corners of the world.

Every vintage begins with 100% estate-grown fruit, carefully cultivated in our vineyard. Each harvest is crafted locally by trusted hands to showcase the character and elegance of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, where rolling hills and a unique terroir produce some of Oregon's most celebrated wines. You can enjoy our wines during your stay with us or find them at a select collection of restaurants, shops, and tasting destinations throughout the Willamette Valley and Portland.

OUR INSPIRATION
When designing our label with the talented Italian artist, Cristina Ciamporcero, we looked to the people, places, and moments that have shaped our family’s enduring connection to wine. This inspiration led us back to Monforte San Giorgio, a small town in Sicily where our family property, Contrada Santa Caterina, is located—a name we have carried forward to our land here in Oregon in honor of that same legacy and sense of place. The label brings together the two places closest to our hearts—Italy and Oregon—bridging where our story began and where it continues today. The mountain reflects the Sicilian landscape and village that anchor our heritage, while the home at its summit represents our vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. Each element is intentionally connected, honoring the idea that neither place stands alone, but instead completes the other.
